magic anons gave a fresh new take on how to interpret how a champion would react to rather adverse situations
some people got them, some people didn’t. some people liked them, some people thought they were stupid and a waste of time
now comes the first starts of the real major problems of a community split, but again, nothing SERIOUS
so magic anon business had an interesting burn through the community, but then things started to get out of hand with the anons and they too ended up dying out due to the drama they caused
a side effect of magic anons was the introduction of a roleplaying element into the askblogs
some people thought askblogs should JUST be about answering asks and that’s it, roleplaying should be put somewhere else
others thought RPing was fine
so more splitting
after the magic anon business came the “reblog if you want X questions or colors or numbers and we’ll answer them”
this started to get out of hand, since everyone would start reblogging but admittedly, not everyone would get asks either way
people started to get bothered
soon dashboards would be filled with reblog and ask prompts and not actual answers, which is not what followers were interested in
sure, they were fine now and then when asks were dry for a bit and you weren’t getting anything
but seeing people reblog the same thing over and over and get nothing but STILL try and do it got tiresome
others got tired of doing this, others just kept reblogging the same thing anyways
more split

then there’s group fanart things that caused drama
which makes no sense
some people didn’t happen to get into someone else’s big “tumblr family” picture and got all hissy fit about it when they had no right to
more drama there, and splits
then there’s champion interpretations, which admittedly is up to the blog owner, but when it’s so adverse to the lore, it’s rather aggravating to see it done
more drama there
then OOC on askblogs which haven o reason to be there or be on league of legends tags for tumblr
more split and drama
and now it’s gotten to oversexualized EVERYTHING on askblogs that’s just gotten out of hand
which is partially linked to champ interpretation
still ridiculous regardless
more drama
and part of the splits also means ridiculous levels of over protection
no one
near no one in this community knows how to take any constructive criticism or anything along the lines of anything bad said about them
the slightest sign of negativity towards their askblog they freak out as if it’s a personal attack against them
and then their little “niche” will go flying to their aid unnecessarily
it’s become a disgusting set of circle-jerking and ass-kissing that i have to unfollow before my dash is filled with the same sob post over and over

there’s some hate anons that are too harsh
i get that
but even the SMALLEST sign of “oh maybe do this instead” there’s a flurry of “OMG THAT PERSON IS A DOUCHE YOU ARE A PERFECT LITTLE SNOWFLAKE AND SHOULD NEVER CHANGE”

change is actually something good for learning and growing
people need to grow a spine and take criticism and develop properly

there’s a reason why whenever I DID happen to reblog that “anonymous tell me your opinion of me”, I would always stress and ask for people to give me criticism, not praise, because I wanted to give my audience the best experience of what they would find enjoyable with my askblog.”

Welp…there’s probably more to the matter but I THINK I hit most of the major parts. Pardon the lack of proper punctuation/capitalization, this was a rant I had on skype to someone asking about the drama happening amongst the league of legends tumblr askblog community.

So yeah, this is the explanation, and I’m sure I’m going to get flak over this regardless, but honestly at this point? I don’t mind if people came raging at me, it’d be a first, but people also need to realize WHY everyone’s hating each other. I didn’t join the tumblr community for fame/followers, I joined it to have fun, and right now, it’s not even amusing anymore with seeing so much BS on my dashboard now.

This is pretty much why I left this account and will most likely not return until things get better (All fingers crossed it will)

Ahri sighed softly as gental wind blew past her, ruffling her hair. She stood not far outside the Institute, a small bag slung over her shoulder. She wore simple clothing, a pair of black pants and a red shirt with a black jacket over it. It was something the fox wasn’t used to wearing but she liked it.

She had this battle with herself several times now, everytime time she choose to loose, giving up on the idea. Not today, not anymore. Her leave papers where turned in. The amount of time she would be gone left blank. This fox was done, maybe another would rise up, maybe not. She didn’t mind really. No strings attached anymore.

With a final grin Ahri turned back to look at she once considered home. She no longer had one, nor did she want one, not right away at least. Shrugging she turned away, giving a final wave as she headed down the path, not sure where her feet would take her.

Yes folks, I am for the current moment putting down this blog. The reason I was staying no longer exists and until I can find a muse or someone who is will to RP with me without me really having to beg, I will be gone. I shall not put a passwordon it. I shall keep it open for any who want to read.

Thank ya’ll for the laughs and fun times. I’ll still be on Kiri on Rin if you really need me. However I think this ship has finally sunk.
